GHRD launches Human Rights Development Training

EDIT: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, this training has been postponed to September. Exact dates to be confirmed.

GHRD, in association with The Hague Academy, will be conducting Human Rights Development Training in The Hague, The Netherlands.

The training will bring together a variety of topics such as reporting and monitoring, diplomacy and resilience building with human rights at its core. The training will include both theoretical and practical components.

The Human Rights Development Training is aimed towards human rights activists, defenders and individuals who wish to learn more about working in this area. The course is open to participants from South Asian countries.

Interested applicants are asked to send an email before 30th March 2020 to including their name (as it appears on their passport), date and place of birth, current work, education or field of study and current place of residence. Applicants will then be interviewed and those selected will receive an invitation letter for the training.

In light of the current global health crisis, the dates for the programme continue to be reviewed but interested applicants are still asked to apply.
