Celebration International Women’s Day 2010 in Pakistan

On the 8th of March which is the International Women’s Day, Human Rights Voice for Minorities (HRVM) is hosting an event with several activities centred on women’s issues, with the aim to raise awareness about the problems that minority women are facing in Pakistan. Four hundred women from the most neglected communities in society will be participating in the event that is supported by GHRD. HRVM is the only organisation in Pakistan, which is established by local minorities with representatives of Christian, Hindu, Sikh and other small religious and ethnic minorities. HRVM works towards the rights of minorities in Pakistan and creates awareness activities in the most neglected segments of the country.
