Dutch Refugee Council Supports GHRD’s Report on Bhutanese Refugees

The Dutch Refugee Council, (Vluchtelingenwerk Nederland ), the largest Dutch NGO guarding the interests of refugees and asylumseekers in The Netherlands, agrees with several of the recommendations GHRD put forward in its recently published report on Bhutanese Resettlement. For instance, the time refugees stay in the transit centre must be reduced, says the organisation in an encouraging statement about GHRDs report on their website. The article (in Dutch) can be found here: www.vluchtelingenwerk.nl

Hard copies of the report on resettlement of Bhutanese in The Netherlands are available and will be distributed within The Netherlands for free. To obtain a copy send an email to: humanrights@remove-this.ghrd.org
