GHRD's 'Coalition for the Rights of Minorities' makes national news in Pakistan

In 2013, GHRD’s partners in Pakistan founded the ‘Coalition for the Rights of Minorities (CRM)’ in order to work more successfully as a group rather than as individual NGOs. The Pakistan led CRM has since become a great success and at the beginning of April they wrote a press release in order to highlight their recent achievements. The press release was printed in a variety of national newspapers which reach out to both English speaking and Urdu speaking audiences, meaning information about the CRM has spread throughout Pakistan.

Additionally, GHRD joined meetings with the members of the CRM to not only discuss past achievements but also to discuss future projects and provide a workshop on lobby, advocacy & fundraising. This meeting was attended by prominent members of the international community like the Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan and a member from the Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad.
