Global Human Rights Defence is kick-starting our Youth in Action programme Equality: a European Quality this week!
To launch the programme, GHRD is holding a blog competition open to young, ambitious writers. Youngsters will have a chance to address an important issue which will be discussed in 'Youth Action' programme; "how to foster intercultural dialogue?" The winning piece of writing will be published in GHRD's blog (if you want to be in the running to have your own piece of writing featured on GHRD’s blog and social media then see more details here).
Participants from Bulgaria, Poland and Turkey will take part in the training. The training will take place in Delft at the Scout Centre Kruithuis from the 15th until the 22nd of August 2012.
The one week programme will involve a variety of presentations, discussions, case studies, educational games, role plays and social events so that youth participants can make new friends and have fun while learning more about the importance of equality, diversity and enhancing tolerance.
GHRD wishes to thank the European Commission for their support for the project and for encouraging youth involvement in human rights and integration here in Europe!
