GHRD’s partners in South Asia celebrate International Women’s Day 2010 The 8th March 2010 marks the celebration of the International Women’s Day (IWD), which will be celebrated worldwide. IWD was first celebrated in 1913 and was launched by the UN as a means of promoting and protecting the equal rights of women. It is an occasion for women around the world to raise international awareness regarding issues that they face. GHRD’s partners in South Asia, together with the assistance of GHRD in The Netherlands, will organise events and activities to be celebrated on International Women’s Day.
Global Human Rights Defence is pleased to announce the second series of training on Human Rights.
