Human Rights Day-2019 celebrated in Nepal

The 71st Human Rights Day, Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) continues to advocate to promote and protect for a society where all people are treated equally and are able to freely access fundamental human rights. Human Rights are a necessity and not an accessory. Around the globe world, there have been attacks on individual human rights- and the institutions designed to protect them- on a national scale. The continuation of these conditions interfere with protecting and strengthening human rights of each individual.

Through our projects, we bring the stories of human rights atrocities in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India with the help of our local partners to bring those stories on the front. We seek to bring out the narratives of those who face challenges, which at the source, have been created or prolonged by the governments who have played politics with people’s lives.

We turn to our story from Nepal, today December 10, on the day of 71st International Human Rights Day, a large procession was organised by the students of Milan English School with the slogan “End child labor” and “Child violence”, in Birganj – 31, Nepal.
