Meet the team

My name is Rinku Kalsy and I have 18 years of background as a documentary filmmaker. My connection with GHRD began in 2013, when I directed and edited the documentary SOLD – A Child Trafficked for the organization. Since August 2025, I have been working closely with GHRD’s media teams, shaping visual narratives, guiding video projects from concept to final edit, and supporting the storytelling side of the organisation’s human rights work. My role often sits at the intersection of research, production, and creative direction. I enjoy working with GHRD because the work feels grounded and meaningful. The issues are real, the team is driven by purpose, and it gives her the chance to use her craft in a way that has impact – a balance she values deeply.
