About
I am Sradhanand (Srad) Sital, based in The Hague, an experienced human rights defender and founder of Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD), active in multiple countries. I have led over 200 investigations, field missions, and reports in South Asia, highlighting abuses against religious minorities, women, and marginalized communities.
I also founded Global Human Rights TV (GHRtv), a global human rights platform, and NGUN, a network connecting local and international NGOs to strengthen cooperation.
My work includes research and field missions, advocacy at the UN, EU, and government levels, crisis response, humanitarian support, and organizational leadership. Through NGO networks, grassroots partnerships, and media campaigns, I have developed programs addressing forced conversions, gender-based violence, and minority protection.
As I often say:
“Human rights is human work; stopping human rights violations is also human work.”
My mission is to give a voice to the ignored and ensure their rights are recognized and protected worldwide.
