The worldwide protest is organised by Insight UK, a partner organisation of Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD). GHRD fully supports this demonstration and stands in solidarity with its objectives, which align with fundamental international human rights principles.
This global action seeks to highlight the persecution of religious minorities in Bangladesh and calls for justice for Dipu Das and the immediate release of Chinmoy Prabhu, both of whom are reported to have suffered grave injustices. The demonstration aims to raise awareness, demand accountability, and urge national governments and international institutions to uphold their obligations under international human rights law.
Participants across the world are encouraged to gather at iconic public locations in their respective cities at 1:00 PM local time, symbolising global unity against religious persecution and impunity. In the United Kingdom, the demonstration will take place at Parliament Square, London, offering a visible platform to engage policymakers, media, and the broader public.
