Open Call for Documentary Filmmakers
The 6th GHRD International Human Rights Film Festival is now accepting documentary submissions for its Human Trafficking Edition.
Global Human Rights Defence and GHRTV invite documentary filmmakers from around the world to submit films that expose injustice, amplify unheard voices, and spark meaningful conversations about human trafficking and modern slavery.
We are looking for powerful documentaries that explore human trafficking in all its forms through the stories of individuals, communities, places, systems, exploitation, resistance, and survival. Through the power of cinema, the festival seeks to bring urgent human rights concerns to the screen and encourage greater awareness, dialogue, and action.
Selected documentaries will be screened at the festival on 15 October 2026 at Pathé Buitenhof in The Hague, the Netherlands.
Submit your documentary by 9 August 2026 and join filmmakers from around the world in bringing these important stories to a wider audience.
Because silence protects traffickers. Stories don’t.
