United Nations Human Rights Council Opens its 62nd Session in Geneva
The UN Human Rights Council opened its 62nd session in Geneva on 15 June 2026, with High Commissioner Volker Türk warning of an unprecedented assault on international law and calling for human rights to be placed at the core of responses to today’s gravest global crises.
