Call for Submissions: 6th GHRD International Film Festival
Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) is proud to announce the 6th edition of our International Film Festival, taking place on October 15, 2026, at the prestigious Pathé Buitenhof in The Hague.
This year, our festival focuses on one of the most urgent global challenges: Human Trafficking. We invite filmmakers to submit documentaries that expose exploitation, share stories of resilience, and inspire international action against modern slavery.

Submit Your Film
We are looking for powerful documentaries that bring hidden stories to light and encourage dialogue among experts, survivors, and the public.
Technical Requirements & Guidelines
To ensure your film meets our screening standards, please follow these specifications:
- Submission Deadline: August 9, 2026
- Film Duration: We accept documentaries with a length between 10 and 55 minutes.
- File Formats: Submissions must be in MP4, MOV, or similar high-quality digital formats.
- Resolution: Minimum requirement is HD; however, Full HD or 4K is preferred for cinema screening.
- Subtitles: All films must have English subtitles to ensure accessibility for our international audience.

Selection & Jury Process
Your work will be reviewed by a professional panel dedicated to human rights storytelling.
- Selection Procedure: Our committee will review all entries, and selected candidates will be officially notified by early September 2026.
- The Jury: Films will be evaluated by the GHRD team in collaboration with an external jury consisting of three independent experts.
- Criteria: We look for impact, cinematic quality, and the ethical representation of human dignity.
